Doing Work That Matters

An inclusive workforce is a better workforce, and neurodivergent and I/DD team members have a different way of seeing the world that helps us find solutions to problems in places we might not otherwise be looking. We are proud to have partnered with Oregon's Youth Transition Program to provide meaningful, long-term employment to several wonderful young adults with disabilities.

Neurodivergent team members have a passion for detail and are often capable of doing repetitive tasks with unceasing enthusiasm. YTP has helped us find some of the most reliable, hardest working employees we have.

We are committed to continuing to build a diverse, inclusive workplace, and are constantly working to ensure that jobs at Cognitive Surplus are accessible to a wide array of people.

Employment Partner Award

In 2018, we were proud to receive an Employment Partner Award from the Oregon State Rehabilitation Council for creating a workplace where several adults with disabilities can thrive.

We were also recently featured in an article by Vocational Rehabilitation, and some photos from the interview are on their page.
